Accessibility Statement
Effective date: September 6, 2026
Tattoo Vibes should be usable by as many people as possible, including readers using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced motion settings.
What we aim for
We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. That is a target rather than a certification, and we treat it as ongoing work rather than a box to tick.
What is in place today
- A skip to content link as the first item on every page.
- One main heading per page and a logical heading order beneath it, so screen reader users can navigate by structure.
- Descriptive alternative text on every image, including every tattoo photograph.
- Visible keyboard focus outlines, and full keyboard access to the menu, search, table of contents and all forms.
- Form fields with real labels, and error and success messages announced to assistive technology.
- Text and interface colours chosen for contrast against their backgrounds.
- A layout that reflows to a single readable column on small screens and does not scroll sideways.
- Animation and transitions reduced automatically when your device requests reduced motion.
Known limitations
- Third party advertising is inserted by external networks. We do not control the accessibility of individual adverts, though we choose partners who work to improve it.
- Embedded content from other services follows that service accessibility standards rather than ours.
- Some older articles may have shorter alternative text than we would write today. We improve these as we revisit each guide.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, please tell us, and say which page and what happened. Reports like that are the fastest way for us to fix real problems. Email hello@tattvibes.com or use the contact page. We aim to reply within two working days.
